Narrative Description of Project: The project is focused on social mobilization, capacity building, income generation activities and rural infrastructure building in the community. We have learned through the project that people centered and demand based programs will be sustained only. The activities like VDC level Orientation, Community group formation and Organization, monthly management and saving collection and mobilization, COs members’ agreement, different IG sub-Project’s activities implement and facilitation, coordination of different IG and Infrastructure activities, Capacity building trainings are major activities that carried by project Major activities: Orientation and capacity building for nutritious foodsPromote for behavior change (shift to use local nutritious foods)Handover of technology and materials for agri-productionMainstreaming gender and equity and cooperatives registration |
Objectives of the Project: The overall objective of the project is to alleviate poverty however the specific objectives of the project are as follow: To conduct social map preparation, HHs analysis and Community organization formation.To facilitate and community organizations (COs) for income generation and infrastructure related demand collection, prioritization and implementationTo mobilize the community organization about accounting system to PAF’s modality.To empower COs to involve in community development through the intensive mobilization to income generation, infrastructure development, institutional development and searching their right with another development offices and stakeholders.To facilitate and empower peoples about their right and responsibilities through capacity building trainings and exposure visit |
Major Achievement: 119 community social map and assessment has been completed in 119 settlements of 5 VDCs119 community organizations have been formed and registered.121 COs has been assisted for income generation activities, supervision and treatment facilitation16 infrastructure related technical assistance has been provided46 persons (28 female) on vegetable production, 259 persons (85 females, 34 dalit) on livestock and nursery management training, 30 persons (14 female, 20 dalit) on construction training and 6 persons on repair and maintenance were capacitatedAltogether 3,240 households (20,637 persons) were benefitted from the activities of 121 settlements20 drinking water supply activities completedAround NRs 64891208.00 has been mobilized under revolving fundAltogether 3,133 (1855 females and 1278 males) were benefitted from income generation activities |
