Narrative Description of Project:
Objectives of the Project: The overall objective of the project was to stabilize the enterprises after the earthquake and develop entrepreneurship to the rural marginalized people. However, the specific objectives of the project were: to increase income level of rural socially marginalized groups’ i.e. Dalit, women, Janajati and youth through micro entrepreneurship program for poverty alleviationto increase productivity of micro enterprise development workto establish common facility centerto increase access to financial institution of entrepreneurs for implementation of micro-enterprise development work
Major Achievement: Local authorities (DDC, VDC and District Cottage and small Industry Development Board Office) and other stakeholders are aware upon the project module and less chance to duplicate such types of program in the respective VDCs.528 people were enhanced through SIYB training310 people were capacitated upon different skills449 people were received appropriate technologies to foster their enterprises.527 entrepreneurs are generated through our intervention.7 CFCs were made and local people are being received the services from CFCs.
