HuRENDEC-Nepal

Human Rights and Environment Development Centre (HuRENDEC-Nepal) is a leading non-profit making Non-Government Organization (NGO) registered in Kalikot district, Nepal. This organization was established in 1997. Since its establishment, this organization has been working to uplift rural livelihood and public awareness through various interventions with support from different stakeholders and donors. It primarily has expertise in social mobilization, program implementation, policy advocacy and monitoring. It also has experience about climate change adaptation and mitigation approach, which is the major theme of HuRENDEC to address issues of climate vulnerable groups and refugees. It has been working on need-based action-oriented multi-disciplinary areas through social mobilization, especially focusing on Human Rights, Lobby and Advocacy for the rights of women, children, and socially disadvantaged groups.
