Micro-Enterprise Development Programme for Poverty Alleviation (MEDPA)

The prime objectives of the MEDPA are to develop entrepreneurs through creating entrepreneurship opportunities, development and promotion. It is the Nepal Government and UNDP funded program. It is the implementation part of the program implementation guidelines 2017 and approved district programs of fiscal year 2073/74.
Its target groups are poor and discriminate people around 7 VDCs (Odanaku, Kotwada, Daha, Kumalgaun, Raku, Siuna and Sipkhana) of Kalikot district.
Program started from Feb 2017 and ends at July 2017. It will be planning to create 345 new entrepreneurs and 135 get skill enhancement training’s and equipment’s supports.
